Lucketts, OC, and taking back my deck...

I have quite a few photos to share from the Lucketts Spring Market, my day trip to Ocean City, MD, and my deck/planting progress...

I spent most of my Memorial Day weekend cleaning and scrubbing deck boards and cushions so I'm exhausted!

Ocean City, MD Day Trip

Just had to share a photo of my amazing burger...best I've had in a while!

I stopped at Sea Shell City one of my favorite stores in OC.  I thought about buying some shells and making my own sunburst frame / mirror.  They had this amazing one for $10 - much easier than trying to glue a million shells down myself :)

My finds...

I went back to Art's Antique Alley Antique Store where I found this amazing blue glass dish. It found a home on top of my revamped dresser:

Lucketts Spring Market

Have you ever been?  These people take this stuff very seriously...made me anxious the way they were crowded around everything like they were giving out crap for free or something...

Here are a few shots I managed to snap while shopping...

My finds...

A great old wooden drawer that I added a 511 metal tag to that I bought on Etsy a while back, two small spreaders, and a wire heart hanging thing.

I wish I would have taken a before photo of this key - when I bought it was completely covered in dirt and rust - all the intricate details were filled in.  Love it!

My Mom bought me this bicycle wheel coat rack that even spins!  It was quite a challenge getting it in the car but I persevered!  I swapped out my Pottery Barn coat rack and it found a great spot in my closet room:

Random purchases this week...

I splurged and bought another Le Creuset dutch oven - this one is smaller and in Marseille blue.  I love how the colors look on the stove together.  Now to make some great meals!

I also found some great navy blue pillow shams for the bed at HomeGoods - love the texture and they add just the right amount of blue to compliment the walls...

How cute are these Anthro whale measuring cups (Anthro)?  They're not as vivid as the photo online but I still think they're adorable...

I found this awesome rustic lantern at HomeGoods...definitely didn't need it but I love it and it looks pretty cool lit up. I'm sure my Dad will try to straighten the door out the first time he sees it...;)

Taking back my deck...

I used to sit out on my deck with my puppy but I have to admit I haven't been out there in a while.  The cushions were covered in green mildew and grossness and the wood on the deck is in rough shape.  Wait till you see some of the befores below!  I still have more work to do but wanted to share some of my progress.  I scrubbed the cushions with a mix of Tide and OxiClean powder - it worked pretty well but took forever.

I picked up the blue pillow and blue citronella candles at HomeGoods and the B&W pillows are from Target (the same ones I have on my front porch).

I also have to show off my lovely hydrangeas I planted this year, the color is amazing. I decided to spray my little metal table and chairs that are on my front porch too.  I got a lot of lovely looks from my neighbors since I decided to spray them on my front lawn with plastic tarps flying everywhere :)

Today is also a sad day for me - it would have been my puppy Lucy's 5th birthday.  She passed a way a year ago and I miss her so much every day.  It's amazing how dogs can really fill a space in your heart and love you unconditionally.
