Lucketts & Leesburg Oct - 2012

This past weekend we went to the Leesburg Outlets and Lucketts Design House in Virginia.  I've been to the store before but the Design House had some amazing furniture and great decorating ideas.  Get ready for a photo-palooza :)

Amazing gossip bench we saw outside, I would have LOVED to bring this one home and fix it up but the price tag was too steep.

Love this rusty A!! It was HUGE

Awesome drawers!

We bought these fabulous welcome signs.  Love the wings and crown!
Gotta find a place to put mine :)

Get ready for the most amazing knobs you've ever seen.  If you don't like these we can't be friends...seriously

We bought three of these bright blue knobs.  I could see the faceted blue glass knobs on a painted antique dresser.

Miss Mustard Seed's shop inside the lobby

Happiness = a drawer full of old skeleton keys - these are all German

I have a thing for sunburst mirrors, this one had to come home with me

This room was by far my favorite, love the colors, love the tufting

Great trophies - but they were all brand new reproductions

I couldn't breathe when I saw this cabinet of drawers - if I had an extra $900 to spend I would have surely fit this cabinet in my car.  I dream of finding drawers like this at an estate sale...for $11 :)

My treasures!

My new foyer lamp - found at Target!  The base is amazing - mosaiced mirror.  Perfect scale for my console table.

I updated my sunburst mirror collection in my kitchen with my new mirror from the Design House (painted silver and antiqued of course).

This mirror was on my mirror collage wall - so I moved it to the mosaiced table in my foyer.  I like how it reflects the starfish and glass paperweight.

Have you ever made donuts at home?  I got a craving for sugar donuts like my Mom made when I was a kid.  Super easy - you use store-bought canned biscuits, cut out the center with a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon then fry in vegetable oil until light brown.  I tossed mine in a mixture of brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.  Amazingly addictive.

Happy Treasure Hunting!
