The Nate Berkus - Things That Matter book was a lot bigger than I expected. Most of the spaces are a little too fancy for me but I still enjoyed the book.
Inspired you by Marian Parsons (aka Miss Mustard Seed) is right up my alley. She even gives you step-by-step instructions of how to refinish and repaint furniture. Definitely some great 'inspiring' ideas.
I looked through both books but I haven't read through either. I'm saving them for this weekend when I have my new pharmacy lamp in place. I ordered the lamp from Wayfair after falling in love with it (it's also available from Amazon, link below). Just the right amount of industrial and polish for my little reading nook. The lamp is due to arrive tomorrow so I'll share some photos of the finished space once I redecorate (yes!)
This is the space now (well not really because I've already moved things around a bit, but I'm not happy with the placement just yet) - the aqua tray table isn't working for me so I think I'll have to find it a new home. Maybe I'll go treasure hunting this weekend and find something that fits perfectly in that space...now that's something to get excited about :)
Still not sure why my painting by my treadmill looks like I just painted a bunch of circles on a canvas (not that there's anything wrong with that)...but if you see the painting in person it has so much more depth than that, just not coming across in the photos.
Well, I'm off to watch Grey's and Last Resort (have you seen Last Resort yet? I'm hooked)
Happy Treasure Hunting!
